RICCIOLO is the true revolution in design: an innovative kinematic chaise longue of biomorphic inspiration, a new paradigm in the conception of upholstered furnishing accessories. Thanks to a particular patented internal mechanism it easily transforms from an armchair to a chaise longue. The guiding idea of ​​the project is metamorphosis, duality understood as the possibility of obtaining a double narrative and functional value which, in the choice of closed-open regulation, as in the movement of a hand, welcomes and protects inside. It is a strongly symbolic object, with sinuous shapes, with a minimalist and linear trait, an expression of great attention to detail, comfort and love for furnishing accessories. Presented at the 2011 Salone del Mobile as part of the “Inspired by Nature” collection, the Ricciolo armchair is made with a solid metal supporting structure, springing with elastic straps and differentiated polyurethane foam padding and available with upholstery in different colors and finishes.
